Our Home has Become
Unliveable

Dear Ban the Cannons,
One day the Blueberry Council and our elected representatives (outside of Randy Hawes) will have the professional and moral decency to react to citizen complaints about audible bird scare devices that ruin summertime for so many people. My wife and I are daily looking for a new home because ours has become unliveable due to the loud and incessant cannon blasts.

For some reason our right to live where we do has been superceded by truly thoughtless farmers who care not a whit for others. I cannot imagine doing anything so mean-spirited to my neighbours as blasting cannons for close to fourteen hours a day all summer long.

A farmer's right to farm should not include terrorizing his neighbours.
