I am the Director of Care of Mountain View Home, a 25 bed psychiatric facility
located at 5133 Boundary Road in Abbotsford. My principal residence is next
door at 5147 Boundary Road.
At this time we are surrounded by three blueberry farms located at 5150 Tolmie
Road (west), 41000 block of #3 Road (south) and the 41000 block of Keith Wilson
Road (east). I wish to request that these farms be monitored by the
appropriate agencies so as to assess adherence to specific guidelines/rules
which I believe are not being followed.
The residents of the care facility are agitated and at times become anxious due
to the loud noises resembling shotgun fire. Our quality of life has been
adversely effected for the past five years and it is becoming more so due to
the noise pollution in our rural community.
